Frank Laukien

Frank Laukien is an innovation-focused second-generation biotech entrepreneur and the Chairman, President and CEO of Bruker Corporation. He is also a Visiting Scholar in the Harvard Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology and in the Harvard Origins of Life Initiative.

He served on the Dean’s Advisory Committee of the MIT School of Science for many years until 2014, and presently serves on the Visiting Committee for the MIT Department of Chemistry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from MIT (1984), and a PhD in chemical physics from Harvard University (1988).
